I am sitting in a very comfy chair, on the first week of January, looking out the open front door at the gentle rain. There are lots of crows and I just watched a very lost seagull go by. There are many things about the PNW that are not superior (all my friends are still in Milwaukee, for one!) but I don't miss real winter at all.
