The inking, the inking!

It's late and I'm covered in paint, but it's done. Did you know that right around the five to seven hour mark is when you start staring at the painting and thinking "are we there yet?"

Still 6x9 on matboard, but now including india ink, gold ink, watercolor, pitt pen and interference acrylic in two colors. The scan has been heavily tweaked to try to mimic some of the iridescence that happens on the real thing, and I begin to wonder if my scanner's on the way out. It seems to have real problems rendering subtle teals (it makes them cobalt) and light reddish browns (which have gone way yellower than they should in this piece). Basically, everything that's blue in this picture is shiny in real life.
