Done Today
May. 16th, 2010 06:39 pmWent to hardware store, purchased lumber, one spearmint plant, and miscellaneous metal objects. Stared at power tools.
Went to grocery store. Bought truly enormous amount of groceries, as fridge was sad and bare, and I did not want to eat nothing but bok choy this week.
Disassembled loft bed, cut down all components to new size (it will be a tall platform bed with storage beneath). Disassembled bed ladder. Accidentally dropped wood on
samadi. Apologized profusely.
Clipped off about half of the growth on the very leggy spearmint plant. Ordinarily wouldn't take so much, but it's a mint. I expect to need hellfire and brimstone to kill it. Dropped mint in new pot (it's in a plantable pot from the store). Ate dinner.
To do:
Try to organize spare wood so that it won't fall on anyone else. Perform surgery on the basil shoots that are outpacing the rest. Make tomorrow's bento. Clean apartment enough to work in tomorrow.
Wish I could do:
Cut down and attach new bed rails, put new frame partially together (if I put it all together, I won't be able to reach the mattress on the floor to sleep). Not gonna happen. Too wobbly as is.
