No art right now
Mar. 18th, 2010 03:41 pmThough I'm working on a fanart to complete the Yorizuya. Spring is finally here for real, though it'll probably throw snow at us again at least once. The sky is blue, it's nice enough to have the window open, and I have a glass of soursop drink. Yay.
One of my rats was broken there for about twenty-four hours - inconveniently right after I took my car to the shop, or he'd have been to the vet. Today, which is when I would have taken him, he's totally fine, despite having been horribly lethargic and drooling randomly. We're right back to "Mom, feed me!" behavior. I have no idea what happened.
Today we also saw a poorly planned attempt at a shakedown at the Vietnamese grocery. A couple of middle school girls, one with a bandaid on her hand, came in and told the cashier that glass had fallen from the window outside and cut one of them. I suspect some details are missing, since falling glass hitting you squarely in the back of the hand is...unlikely. But regardless, coming in, saying so, and staring at the cashier expectantly isn't going to get you much of anything. At least prepare a list of demands. :)
This weekend, I'm off to Waukegan to help the Sun Carolyn paint her house. I must find clothes that won't suffer for being covered in paint.
But now, I get to play Torchlight for a bit.
